Excel
RR/NN
|
We are pleased to
announce the purchase of Excel from Bradley and Brian Johnson of Oklahoma.
Excel is a Final Answer son out of a Grand Slam daughter, and was one of
their keeper rams last year. His twin brother was sold to Ellerbrock
Club Lambs of Illinois. Excel is both exceptionally stout and
sound in his structure, with a blown-apart hip and a smooth front end.
We are excited about his lambs for 2006! |

Neptune
QR/NN
|
Introducing Neptune,
our keeper ram from our 2005 lamb crop. He is sired by NED, the sire
of three of the last four Grand and Reserve Champions at the Ohio State
Fair. His dam (MCL #71) is the mother of the Grand Champion
Heavyweight at the 2004 Ohio State Fair. In addition to being
extremely stylish, Neptune is long, sound, and pulled apart across his hip
and rump. He is very Suffolk in his breed character and we look
forward to his lambs in 2006. |

Revolver
RR/NN
|
One of the most
impressive ram lambs we have ever produced. Revolver is the powerful
genetic combination of Empire and Abby (MCL #51), the final daughter of
Annie. His mother is a full sister to the Grand Champion at the 1999
Ohio State Fair. Revolver combines a massive top with a smooth front
end and hide. He gave us a great set of lambs in 2004, and he holds
a bright spot in our future. |

Fields 65-P
|
The finest ram we
have ever used. 65 consistently sires extraordinary length, style and
scale, with the muscle pattern characteristic of Bob Fields'
sheep. A grandson of his 66 ram, 65 is above all an outstanding
maternal sire, who is as up-fronted and as clean-fronted as any ram in
the industry. Our sincere thanks to Bob for allowing us to
purchase half-interest in him. |
|

Ritz
|
Ritz was a home-raised ram that was one of our
most pleasant surprises. Out of a maternal brother to Comet and a
linebred Annie ewe, Ritz sired fault-free lambs that were exceptionally
wide and square-topped. His wethers consistently found the
winner's circle, and his ewe lambs have been exceptional mothers.
Ritz died in August 2004. |

Empire
|
Purchased from
Cabaniss Club Lambs, Empire was long and smooth with tremendous width of
loin and hip. He was sired by Cash, the sire of the 2002 Grand
Champion at Houston. We have retained a strong set of breeding stock
out of Empire. |
|

Max
|
Max consistently
produced champions throughout his five years in our flock. One of
the few linebred Harrell 120 rams in the country who is spider clean, Max
sires extreme length and style with incredibly smooth hides. Max
died in 2002, but we have retained many daughters that are doing a great
job. |
