Grand Champion Lamb
1999 Ohio State Fair
|
Miller Club Lambs is a
time-tested flock located on Lake Erie just outside of Sandusky, Ohio.
Over the past fifteen years, we have developed our flock into a highly
concentrated and consistent set of twenty ewes. Despite our small
numbers, we consistently produce more champions than many flocks several
times our size.

Annie (1990-2000)
The cornerstone of our flock.
|
|
The majority of our flock traces back to Annie
(MCL #1), the cornerstone ewe of our flock, who produced the Grand
Champion Lamb at the 1999 Ohio State Fair. We have linebred her
progeny with great success over the years. The tight genetic lines
of both our ewes and rams ensure a high degree of consistency and
predictability within our breeding program. |

Set of quadruplets out of Molly
(#33).
Multiple births run heavily throughout our flock.
| In light of new USDA standards,
we have also gone to great lengths over the last few years to DNA test all
of our sheep for scrapie resistance. Every sheep in our flock has
been certified as either QR (resistant) or RR (very resistant) by Gene
Check of Colorado.

All lambs will be sold off
the farm this year. We will start offering show lambs for sale around
the beginning of March. We have breeding stock for sale year-round.
Our first lambs are on the ground for this year and we're very pleased
with what we see.
Visitors are always welcome at the farm. Give us a call or drop us an
e-mail. You won't be disappointed!
Sincerely,
Tom, Debbi, Charlie and Claire Miller.
